I hate these companies

Why do surveillance companies do this? Onif cameras are the most widely used in this industry. The cameras work well with this NVR if you run them through a Poe switch. If you want to use Poe ports on the NVR itself, you're out of luck. They change the way they align the wires in standard Category 5 cables so you think something is wrong and buy their cameras. This is just disgusting customer service. I will be returning both 16 channel systems I bought!

The next question was on the home page, which glued the region in Uzbekistan. The issue I have with this tech support is that it takes multiple phone calls to get a helpful response, all aimed at "remotely logging into your computer to help you". They don't ask questions, they just guess and do! At the time of writing this article, we have boxed this NVR to…

I would reboot the router and cameras and it worked for a while but eventually failed. I upgraded my router to a device that can handle up to 55 connections. We're in a place with tons of electrical gear and wireless security connections, and that's affecting connections too. After updating my router and turning off all unnecessary wireless…
