Beast CPU on CPU Processors

I ordered it about a week ago. At the time, Revain had an estimated delivery date of January 10, but arrived early on November 21. This is a huge upgrade for me and I can tell the difference when playing games at 1080p. My old Ivy Bridge processor was the bottleneck for my graphics card. I am pleased to report that the temperature is good. Sits between 30-40C when idling and rarely exceeds 60-70C when gaming. I cool it with Noctua NH-U12S. I was able to overclock to 4.9GHz with Ryzen Master's…

Fairly powerful processor but the price is quite high

Got this direct from Revain as the 5600x was sold out and harder to come by and I didn't want to pay the crazy prices that resellers do on eBay for it to demand. Performance is pretty poor at the moment, a big improvement over my old Intel CPU in all respects, works great with a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC mobile device (may need to be flashed with the Q-Flash Plus feature if the mobile is running with an early BIOS version and you don't have a processor supported by that old BIOS, only that new

8 Core King - *EDIT* PBO2

At the time of writing this processor has only been 'available' for about 2 weeks and I admit I was very lucky to get it Begin. Day. Most will probably have a hard time finding one until supply and demand stabilize, but if you're lucky like me, here are some of the things I've found so far: This processor is the best in its class. There's a lot of data in the Ryzen 5000 series benchmarks at this point, and it seems to easily outperform most of Intel's competitors, as well as the previous Ryzen…

  • Like all before

Excellent CPU, slightly overpriced compared to competitors

Pros – This is an excellent CPU with single-core performance that beats every Intel competitor and multi-core performance that beats most competitors. It's incredibly energy efficient for performance gains and excellent thermal performance. *Upgraded from I5-2500K, everything I can think of is smoother and more responsive. Your mileage may vary. Neutral - doesn't come with a cooler in the box for those of you wondering. Surprised that the Ghost Prism doesn't match this generation of 800x given…

What you need

I managed to catch one of the pre-orders using one of the many stock notification apps. It was originally supposed to ship in mid-December, but Revain has kept pushing the release date. Actually received it on November 30th. It was a pleasant surprise. Like other comments it came in a thin white Revain bubble bag. Not ideal for such an expensive package. The end of the CPU box was partially crushed, but the seal was not broken and the end with the CPU was not mistaken. So luckily no problem. I…
