Review on AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Desktop Processor - 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked by Steven Saric

Got this direct from Revain as the 5600x was sold out and harder to come by and I didn't want to pay the crazy prices that resellers do on eBay for it to demand. Performance is pretty poor at the moment, a big improvement over my old Intel CPU in all respects, works great with a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC mobile device (may need to be flashed with the Q-Flash Plus feature if the mobile is running with an early BIOS version and you don't have a processor supported by that old BIOS, only that new 5800x). Temperatures like MonkaS - I get over 80C running the latest Cinebench R23, but that's with a fairly cheap Arctic Freezer 34 CO cooler, and according to the guys at AMD, temperatures are up to 90C for this processor normal, and you, likely to get higher temperatures. if you choose Noctua cooler or liquid cooling. Oh and yes - DO NOT buy this processor on eBay from anyone or here at Revain unless the seller says 'Sold by Revain'. Not worth paying above retail, Revain now gets them in small quantities every few days and stock levels will continue to improve.
