Good product for Lexus RX junk but unfortunately the damn glue (on the back of the velcro) just doesn't hold. Thus, the container is on the side in the leg area of the passenger next to the switch console. I've tried rubbing alcohol on the surface it's applied to; and then acetone (nail polish remover) - it still doesn't stick. That's the only downside - otherwise nice size, nice app. Would be a really good product if only it held up.

I like the size and shape of this container more than any other car dumpster I've ever seen. I like that it's tight and stays open. I placed it on the passenger side of the center console so it was right in front of her knees and I was comfortable there. I can still reach out while driving and passengers can use this tool. Everything in this little bin is perfect for my car. Reason for 3 stars - Velcro does not work in hot weather. I cleaned the plastic area in the car where the alcohol container should have been. I attached the container as described. The car sat idling in a cool garage all night. I drove to work by car, the next day the car was in a sunny place. Perfect fit! Only the color is black and sticks to my tan van like a sore thumb. I had to purchase an industrial grade 3M Photo Hanger for mounting. I didn't bother with the velcro that came with the kit. The 3M adhesive can be removed without leaving any residue. It is actually smaller than it looks in the photos. Whilst the product itself is exactly what I was hoping for I was extremely disappointed with the velcro allowing for a bin to which should be attached to the side of my car compartment. For several days I tried to use the product attached to the side panel of my car, but it kept falling on the ground. I got this because the dealership that had the previous one I bought went out of business. This one is better because the dealership had a big promotional sticker on it that I couldn't put down. Anyway, this is for my other car. It fits in the back pocket of the front seat. It's range, but I don't see it as a problem and it's just annoying when you put it up front. There is not much space in my car(s). It came with lots of velcro and a protector for the back seat pocket, neither of which I use.
