Description of American Automotive 1.5-inch Rear Suspension Lift with Durable Cast Iron Blocks & Extended 10-inch Square Leaf Spring Axle U-Bolts

FITMENT: All makes and models with a single 9/16" axle pin hole and 2.5" leafs that require square 10" extra-long clamp; 4" threads can be cut. CONTENTS: 2 solid US certified cast iron lift blocks with 4 OEM grade steel square bend u-bolts, hi-nuts and security spring washers. TECHNICAL NOTES: Install the tallest ends of tapered rear blocks to the rear of the vehicle; Retighten u-bolts after the first 500 miles. BENEFITS: American Automotive solid cast iron lift blocks are stronger than aluminum and cast as a single, more stable construction than blocks with pressed pins. They are designed to increase rear load and towing capacity. American blocks absorb noise and vibrations, and are tapered for perfect pinion alignment. Made for maximum u bolt clamp force with an even distribution of pressure, American axle u bolts eliminate flexing and provide the strength to maintain original vehicle handling. NOTE: U bolt color may vary.

Long U-Bolts - Body & Suspension Raise Kits

Easy installation, sturdy parts, but U-bolts are too long. They should only be 1.5 inches longer than the factory u-bolts and should be cut.

Pros
  • CONTENTS: 2 US Certified heavy duty cast iron jack blocks with 4 OEM steel square head U-bolts, nuts and protective spring washers.
Cons
  • Drill Kit

98 Dodge Ram 1.5 Blocks

I used these blocks as a kit to lower my 98 Dodge Ram. The blocks didn't sit flush with the rear axle so I had to do a bit of work to get them flush. But overall I am happy with my purchase and will buy again.

Pros
  • BENEFITS: American Automotive's solid cast iron lift blocks are stronger than aluminum and cast as a single, stronger structure than stamped pin blocks. They are designed to increase rear load and traction. American blocks absorb noise and vibration and are tapered for perfect gear alignment. Manufactured for maximum U-Bolt clamping force with even pressure distribution, American Axle U-Bolts eliminate flex and provide the strength needed to maintain original vehicle handling.
Cons
  • Some small things

2021 Ford Ranger Large Lift Kit

I've had a hard time finding a rear lift kit to fit my 2021 Ford Ranger XLT. Revane had no idea, kept saying it didn't fit, kept sending me to a more expensive and smaller kit height. I couldn't find any help online that was given away for free, so I checked the backend, took a chance, ordered your kit and installed it! Great fit, gave me the height I wanted and my ranger LOOKS GREAT! I would recommend this lift to anyone who owns a recent Ford Rander. Your company must recommend this part for…

Pros
  • TECHNICAL NOTES: Attach the highest ends of the tapered rear blocks towards the rear of the vehicle; Tighten the U-bolts after the first 500 miles
Cons
  • Reliability
