Doesn't stretch! in Sewing

This item says stretch but it does not stretch. I am VERY dissatisfied with the company's product and service.

Love it!: Thread & Floss

This material in my spool single-handedly solved all of my twin needle problems. The perfect twin needle stitch with no tearing, snapping, or fiddling!

Durable yarn and floss material

Flexible and durable. I just want it to be woven together to make it look like thread. It looks like scattered pieces of thread simply joined together.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Weight

1000 yards, not 2000 yards

Supposed to be 2000 yards, actually only 1000 yards. There was a bar code above the bar code and the bottom bar code had a caption to indicate this. 2 out of 4 rolls ordered were marked as defective.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Upgradable

Elastic thread

I sewed very elastic knitwear. This thread worked fine. It just isn't as stretchy or as full as wool nylon. If I had to hem napkins etc. I would prefer wool nylon. But MaxiLock was easy to use.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Small parts

Defective product

Do not buy. I've never seen such a bad thread. I don't understand why they are selling it. I am a sewing teacher by profession, 37 years old. My dresses have been featured in various magazines over the years. I can design clothes, sew or repair sewing machines. I've never seen such a bad thread. Don't waste money. I'm asking for a refund, I hope I get it.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Hand sewing is fine

I bought this to fix some of my workout leggings and while it works, especially if you hand sew I would hate to buy it again. It is not twisted, so the fibers easily diverge, and it is inconvenient to thread the needle. I would NEVER put this on my sewing machine because it doesn't rotate. I would be very concerned that loose fibers could clog the moving parts of my machine.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Non automatic
