American Flag Star Stencil Template Review

thick stencils make them durable and easy to use. Unfortunately, I couldn't use them where I wanted. I plan my garage. I wanted to use them as a stat against my Star Trek and The Walking Dead posters. Because the walls are textured, the colors have run. It looks like my six year old granddaughter drew it! So I went without stars. Sad because I've waited so long to use them. I will use them in other crafts that have a flat surface like wood.

However I have not used them as wall stencils, I have actually used them to make marks on the ground plane of a large acrylic painting. As a result, they are largely covered by subsequent coats of paint, but there are transparent areas through which the punching of the stencils can be seen. I like them very much, I will use them in my paintings as well as in collages. It's easy to find small stencils, but not so easy to find large ones. Then many large ones are more flowery, rustic or colonial.

These stencils suit me. It took a bit of practice to make them look beautiful. The first few sheets saw through the stencils, even with stencil glue, but after some trial and error it worked. I recommend using a dense roller brush with a light amount of paint and spray adhesive for best results. I just wish there was more space between the edge of the leaves and the edge of the stencil.
