Two did not fit: Motor

It was the correct part number but the two small gaskets were too small so they were not used and put back on the old ones. I replaced other parts and the leak stopped. I'm glad the two gaskets I couldn't use weren't a problem.

  • Great for a small house

Wrong size gaskets are good for the engine

Like many others in these reviews, large gaskets fit great, small gaskets were the wrong size, too small for my faucet. You must buy the whole cartridge and know the correct cartridge number. Not impressed

Ten minutes to install, not a drop.

Perfect fit, fitting disassembled in just ten minutes, everything wiped thoroughly and put back on. The old rings have become brittle; one of them broke when I squeezed it. I waited a few weeks before checking it out to see if the solution was likely to last, and so far it has.

3 star product at best

5 stars for Revain customer service but 3 stars for the product company. The first package that was sent to me was unsealed on one end and completely empty. Revain sent the second package free of charge. It contained all three seals. The large filling was in perfect condition, but the two smaller ones were in poor condition. Luckily I only needed one large seal.

OEM Cartridge Gaskets - Easy to Replace

Gaskets are used for the bottom [of the faucet cartridge. Not for the base unit underneath. If you are unfamiliar with the components of the faucet, the cartridge seals are located underneath the cartridge and can be seen by removing the cartridge and the 3 screws that hold it in place. Replace with new seals. They can only be installed one way as each gasket is a different size. Replace the cartridge and other components, making sure the gaskets on the bottom of the cartridge are in theโ€ฆ

Inexpensive alternative to cartridge replacement.

In the course of my work I have probably restored over 250 American Standard faucets over the past 50 years. They are a great alternative to replacing the entire cartridge if you have type A951470-0070A. (The left one in my photo.) Inside the cartridge, these o-rings are usually the source of the failure. The small amount of chlorine added to many city water systems makes them brittle over time. Symptoms of this problem include water leaks around the base of the faucet or under the sink whenโ€ฆ
