MUSEUM-QUALITY GESSOBORD: Hardbord is treated with Archiva-Seal and coated with a professional artists’ grade acid-free acrylic gesso for a slight, even texture. OIL & ACRYLIC PAINTING AND MORE: Perfect for oils, acrylics, mixed media, mounting papers, photos, giclee's and canvas. HIGH-DENSITY HARDBOARD CORE: Ampersand’s premium, warp-resistant, FSC-Certified Hardbord will ensure your artwork is supported to prevent damage from warping, bowing or movement. STRENGTH AND DURABILITY: Wood painting panels offer more vibrant colors and better support than canvas for your artwork. Terrible Quality, Buyer Beware

After trying this product, I was severely disappointed with the quality. The cradle was unevenly constructed which caused the board to warp while painting. The texture of the gesso also caused the paint to blend together in an unflattering way..

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor construction and texture led to ruined artwork.

best picture stands

I found these to be the best picture stands. The only downside is the price. I still buy them whenever possible. They have all the advantages over the canvas. If you want your paintings to stay here 500 years later, use these plaques.

Pros
  • boards and canvas
Cons
  • piggy bank prize
