Bought about a month ago. I installed it on a pair of Wharfedale Pacific EVO-4s. The sound is clear and warm. It can get loud effortlessly by squeezing a pair of 200-watt speakers. I have not changed the supplied Chinese tubes. So far, so good.

Sounds good and looks good. Very soft and melodic. The only downside is that it's not as powerful as the others, so think about speaker efficiency. Also, the pipes make it quite warm, so make sure it's well ventilated. Goodbye. Most importantly, the seller is very responsive.

Firstly it's NOT 80 watts per channel but a measly 25. Secondly it took only a lousy 4 months before an overwhelming electrostatic hum, louder than music, appeared in both channels. you tried to play Seriously, I'm not just whining here, this thing is useless. I am starting a complaint and return today.

Great audio device/decor! This 80w audio tube works great and looks great! It comes with special caps to protect the bulbs and make sure you don't burn yourself because they get a little hot. In our case we just leave the caps on so it's safer for our cats and they look great in them! It's a really solid build and this device will be a great addition for anyone who likes very cool looking gadgets! great gift for boys!

This amp is better than I expected. Very low noise level, no hum or hiss. The sound is clear and neutral, and it's loud! Very effective tone control, no balance adjustment. I run it through the headphone output of a Kawai KDP-110 digital piano, drive a pair of KRK r6 monitors with a Theater Solutions subwoofer, and the sound is deafening. First of all, it's not 80 watts, but 25 watts, at least that's what the instructions say. However, it is definitely worth the money as long as I really enjoy the amp. I play vinyl and bluetooth through my iPad Pro and am very satisfied. The bass is tight, the high-mids are high, my speakers are the Polk Audio S55 brand series. It arrived and immediately I heard something moving inside the box. After opening it and taking it out of the box, I removed the bottom panel of the unit and found that the bracket that the transformer was bolted to was not fully secured and the bolts were just rattling around inside. I was able to remove all four screws and attach the bracket.
