I bought this for my desk as I have a great pair of BW CM1 S2 speakers that have been retired. I hooked it up to my desktop via a Schiit Modi DAC and this amp produces amazingly good sound. The Bluetooth feature works like a charm when I need to stream a podcast to my big speakers. The device itself is solid and doesn't feel cheap at all. It was a great purchase.

I love the SA100! It produces clear, clean highs, an open mind and full bass. Compared to a nearly 40 year old studio amp with 80 x 2 channels at 0.008 THD and >60# in thermal sync, this little amp can fill the same space at -18 and has virtually no clipping at -3. I bought the SMSL SA100 hoping it was an upgrade from my SMSL SA-S3. SA-S3 is a three channel amplifier with TA2021 chip. SA100 has a TPA3116D2 chip. When comparing two amplifiers, the SA100 sounds much clearer and more accurate. The highs, mids and lows are better separated while the SA3 sounds muddy. Simply a good preamp with 2 speakers. This was the third part of my SMSL setup and it works great. It handles two of my 50-watt Klipsch speakers with ease. I almost always turn the volume down to -30dB, so I don't even get close to pushing this guy to the max.
