Purpose: this voltage sensitive relay is design for two battery systems (SUITABLE for Acid-Lead batteries, NOT SUITABLE for Lithium batteries), allow to having two separate power sources while charging by one alternator, it's all need to charge and isolate two battery systems. Primary Battery Protected: cuts in at 13.3 volts and cuts out at 12.8 volts. Ensure your primary battery is always charged and ready to start your engine, the secondary will be charged after the primary battery's volts exceed 13.3 volts. Heavy Duty: this voltage sensitive relay is heavy built to suitable for almost anywhere even off-road, which is water resistant, shock resistant, dust proof and withstand unexpected extreme weather environments. Compatible: used for DC 12 V two battery systems isolate and charge, universal used for car, vehicle, RV, ATV, UTV and boat, also two battery electrical equipment. The motorhome must have: Battery accessories

Can be mounted on a truck (tractor) to be charged by adding a large diameter cable to the fifth wheel wheel battery. This prevents the truck battery from discharging under RV load with the isolator during meal stops, gas stations, rest breaks, shopping, etc.

Doesn't work with lithium batteries

I didn't know this didn't work with lithium batteries! This is something to be aware of for us lithium battery buyers. I was wondering why my batteries aren't charging and realized you need to buy a DC charger. I don't own it because it's too late to return it. Very disappointed!

Works perfectly! Good price! Note that a 140a rating is a *top rating*, not continuous.

Installed this amp 12v 140a battery isolator between our truck's battery and the DC charger in our trailer to prevent our truck's battery from being discharged through the DC charger when the generator is not connected ( The engine doesn'tstart). Works as advertised. A word of caution for those planning to run high current loads through this battery isolator. This battery isolator "140A" in amps is rated for a "continuous current" of 50-70A only as per the specification accompanying thisโ€ฆ

RVs must have the best battery switches

I didn't know this didn't work with lithium batteries! We who buy lithium batteries should bear this in mind. I was wondering why my batteries aren't charging and realized you need to buy a DC charger. I don't own it because it's too late to return it. Very disappointed!

Easy installation and excellent performance

Everything you need to be offline and have the comforts of home close by or impress your friends. It is a reliable means of charging the secondary battery and keeping the main battery charged. With my H3 all cables fit perfectly. Just ground to the passenger seat brackets. Perfect. It was dry and withstood water over my hood. Will not stop.
