The microscope adapter worked great with my Nikon D70 and D7000 cameras. The adapter replaces the lens of your camera. Has a built-in 2x lens. All I had to do was remove the eyepiece from my microscope and the adapter with the attached camera fell straight into the eyepiece tube. Focusing is done via the focus control of the microscope. Came to my D7000. It worked fine with my old B&L oscilloscope. It doesn't have a rear lens cap, which meant my camera's lens had to be kept in a bag until I ordered a rear lens cap. I have several microscopes with different eyepiece diameters. This one, with its advertised ability to run three sizes with included adapters, sounded perfect. That? Yes and no. I ordered with a Nikon T adapter. Delivery was fast. It didn't come with instructions, but if you buy these you won't need them. It is well made, it seems to be made of aluminum.
