🔬 AmScope USB Digital Handheld Microscope: 50X to 500X with Adjustable Stand and 8-LED Light for Windows, Mac, and Android (OTG Adapter Included) Review

I don't like that all the instructions are on the disk - I don't have ROM to view this disk. I had to google the video to see how it works as there were no instructions either. BUT after I got it working it was AMAZING. You could see everything from split ends to ingrown hairs, love it.

This is the second USB microscope I have bought. I use them to fix and check electronics. The first works very well for what we use it for. This sometimes doesn't turn on when the program starts, or turns on and then freezes after a minute or two. But for $19 you can gamble and you might get one that works.

In the preface I say I also have a semi-pro Amscope microscope that costs about 25 times more than this $20 microscope. I use this for PCB testing and real work. With that in mind, I needed an inexpensive, almost disposable device that would work with my Linux laptop, be portable, and have decent controls. It's a good machine for this use case.
