Very commonly used and worth every penny. Highly recommended. Has more utility than a joke when looking at jewelry. Would buy again if needed.

you get what you pay for. Very noisy fan, very little light, lenses cannot be focused. The lamp is of an odd brand and rating, so it's difficult to find an alternative. Tried as a budget alternative to the Dolan Jenner Mi150 but didn't even come close in terms of overall quality and performance.

The power switch is on the back - somewhat impractical. When the switch is on, the fan runs and makes noise. It's a bit noisy to me so I turned it off instead of using the front knob to regulate the light. And most importantly, the light is a little dim for our microscope. Lots of room for improvement.

In North America, it's impossible to use 220V at 50Hz without spending about $1,500 on a 60Hz to 50Hz power converter. It would be helpful for Revain to let me know that they are selling me a device that is guaranteed not to work in this part of the world.
