Description of 🔥 AMTECH NC-559-V2 No-Clean Tacky Solder Flux (10cc): High-Quality Solution for Precise Soldering Tasks

ROL0 flux classification - rosin based, low activity no-clean tacky solder flux for professional/industrial use. Highly praised by advanced reworks community for mighty long-lasting action and easy cleaning - clear residue evaporates with hot air and doesn't short components. Applicable for a syringe, stencil printing, rework, BGA sphere attachment and reballing using standard tin/lead alloys (not designed for lead-free). Halide-free (<0.05%). Contains UV-tracer for fast detection of splatter. Optimal viscosity - 40-52 (Malcom @ 10 RPM/25°C (x103mPa/s)). High temperature compatible (up to 300°C/600°F). Surface insulation resistant. No copper mirror breakthrough. Low electrochemical migration (<1 decade drop). Wide process window - excellent performance on Flip Chip bumping and Chip Scale packaging sites. Activated residue is clear and non-corrosive - can be left on board for multiple SMT assemblies (manufacturer recommends cleaning all flux residues at all times to avoid board contamination or voltage leakage on circuits with high impedance, also non-activated residue may absorb moisture from air and subsequently cause corrosion). Packaged in various sizes of jars, syringes and cartridges. Genuine product made in the USA by AMTECH MANUFACTURING LLC. Every original shipment would include AMTECH Soldering Profiles card. This product is high-temperature compatible.

Great flux for working with SMD boards

The original This flux goes with the Amtech 559 flux I bought from the Louis Rossmann Group. Excellent flux for processing SMD boards.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some cons

Takes my soldering one step closer to perfection

This flux is by far the best, highest quality flux I have used to date. Definitely worth it if you want your work to shine every time.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Big and bulky

What the Pros Use for Welding and Soldering

I bought this because it's what Louis Rossman uses. It's sticky and leaves a mess that's hard to clean up if you use too much, but it works really well. I'm just a hobbyist so can't compare to other brands, but if Rossman uses that, it's probably good.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • old

Flux is the key to good resoldering

This is the flux that Louis Rossman uses by the gallon and I can see why. This greatly simplifies the development of the board, especially the surface mount components. The package includes a tube of flux and a plunger, so that's all you need to get started.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

Genuine Amtech Flux. Complete with syringe plunger and dosing tip.

This seller appears to have solved an issue where users accidentally ordered this flux and did not order the entire kit, including the plunger and dispensing tip. It is currently no longer possible to order just one syringe. Good move by the seller. This sticky flux is especially good for SMD components.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Frequency

Great performance, a bit difficult to clean

I'm new to SMT soldering (well, pretty new to soldering) and this groundbreaking stuff. I started with a tube of Rosin Paste Flux which I used to tin and paint onto my boards with a small brush. It worked fine (I think) but once I started using this syringe and flux it's completely different. the game. The solder is simply applied directly to the pad and leg of the component and doesn't go anywhere else. I was even able to solder the TQFP32 and TQFP64 packages manually (pin by pin instead of…

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
