Really works. My Chi/Pom barked at all the other dogs during our walks and they stopped barking. I put it in my pocket and when she starts to growl I push the button and for the whole walk.

Just got it and tried it twice in a group. The answer came immediately. The most aggressive sat and fell silent. A few more left. Even stopped the mean cat from hitting the dog over the fence. I don't know the long-term effects, but it appears to be some sort of remote control. Would bet 5 but it's too early to tell if the effect will last.

Our 10 year old Chihuahua loves to sit by the window and bark at anything that moves. Within 3 days of use. our house without bark! I had one of these 20 years ago with an automatic function for outdoor use. This new model is for hand use only. The dog barks. You pick it up, show it to the dog, say "NO" and press the button. On the 3rd day we didn't even have to lift it. I just reached for it and our barker broke! Worth every penny :)

I have had this product for many years. When the first one got lost while moving, I ordered another one. It was a great device for correcting dog behavior when I was away. There are two types, one you need to press by yourself, the other will be triggered automatically. It's loud for people to hear, but you can adjust the volume. For me, dogs learned pretty quickly that excessive barking is bad.

My experience with this handheld siren is that it gets my Chihuahua's attention and he then tries to turn up the volume of the barking interrupter. Chihuahua screams when left alone. He doesn't stop until he gets tired after about 10 minutes. It's just a break because he'll start again as soon as he rests and drinks water. He's stubborn, and that makes Barker Breaker useless as a training tool for him. After 4 weeks I'll keep trying to use this but I'm pretty sure we're done with the Barker…

We really liked this product. It makes a high pitched beep (no shock to the dog or anything). Also, when my dog is barking in the yard, he will come running as soon as he hears the beep. And she actually corrected her behavior after a few beeps and hasn't barked too much since. And he was incessant. Barker before using this. I'm not sure if that will be the case for everyone but I have to say that this product was a game changer for us and was very human. I didn't like the idea of a collar…
