Perfect product for Xbox One

I was a bit skeptical at first because there weren't many reviews, but I took a chance. Long story short, I swapped out three modules and still don't have them. any mechanical problems with the controller. The gameplay is very responsive. If you have the right soldering tools. This then saves you the hassle of buying a new controller for at least $60.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Almost OK

That's great! for Xbox One

My son has been playing hell with his controllers. They were kicked, dropped, crushed. Whatever kids do with these things. Desoldering and soldering only took a few minutes. in new pots. This is a MUST do project for DIY guys. A tip: make sure you have rosin or a rosin-soaked solder removing braid. I didn't have them and had to use a piece of pine sap from one of my trees. It worked great and cleaned with isopropyl.

Pros
  • I've always loved it
Cons
  • I have nothing wrong with it, everything is fine

Not quite suitable for Xbox One

I bought these to fix a drift problem I was having on one of my joysticks. After installing the replacement parts, it became apparent that these sticks were not accurate at all. Moving the wand just 10-20% in one direction was enough for those wands to think they were fully engaged. They could also be a D-Pad for the little analog control you have over them. They came with 4 so I tried the second one, same thing. With one of my other controllers, it was pretty obvious there was a problem.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Not trendy

You are sending a different joystick than the one in the picture

There are a few different Xbox One joysticks out there, some good some bad. The one in this picture is the one with the black plastic part that was originally in the controllers. The one they actually send when you buy it is the cheaper one with white plastic and another plastic mold on the bottom. These sticks don't sit flush and the dead zones are all messed up. This is a 100 percent incorrect listing acts like a good joystick but they send out the cheapest ones that don't work properly.

Works Well Enough: Joysticks

This product worked for me. However, the swappable analog sticks don't fully adhere to the motherboard. It's not user error either. I have been repairing controllers and game consoles for over 11 years. In fact, it was just a poorly designed product during production. Since they don't sit flat on the motherboard, I had to loosen the screws on the controller's outer shell to get it working. However, when I tighten the screws on the controller's outer shell, the controller pushes against the top…

  • Confident

Great way to protect your controller from stick drift

My 2014 Xbox One controller had about 33% stick drift on the right stick. This made the game quite difficult and no other fixes worked so I decided to just get a new module. The modules were pretty easy to install. I desoldered the old ones with a copper wick and the new ones went straight into the board and were soldered in no time. Tested the controller with a test app and they work great. I'll update this if I run into any issues in the future, but for now I'm very happy with this…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Long wait

Mostly Good - Fixed joystick misalignment

I used these to replace the joysticks on my Xbox One Elite controller. Both joysticks fell off and I didn't want to pay $150 for a new controller. I'm not tech savvy when it comes to hardware repairs but my friend was a little more proficient with a soldering iron so I enlisted his help and together he and I were able to replace both joysticks. The first time I replaced it I might have made a mistake somewhere and they actually degraded my controller so I tried again and on the second try both…
