Successful 1440p HDMI display

I have successfully used this adapter to connect a DVI video card to a 1440p monitor via the monitor's HDMI port. It works great, I get full 2560x1440 and 60 fps. A great way to keep an old DVI graphics card useful. Remember that you need a DVI-D cable.

Does NOT work for DVI-D. Can't do more than 30Hz at 1440p.

Purchased for an imported Qnix monitor that can only use DVI-D. Would not display images. I had to use the CRU utility to add 1440p@30Hz manually. That is, it only transmits at single-channel speeds. such hard work for all who are in despair.

Works as intended Computer and accessories

This is an adapter. So it works as intended. However, I appreciate the quality and hassle-free operation. I plugged in the adapter and connected it to the docking station and everything worked without any issues. My DVI monitor is usable again. Costs $8 to save $100 on a new monitor.

Works M1 iMac with Thunderbolt Dock and 23 " Apple Cinema Display

I'm using my old OWC Thunderbolt 2 Dock with an Apple T3-T2 adapter. Works great for USB 2 and Thunderbolt 2 passthrough to Drobo 5D The OWC dock also has an HDMI port. I connected the HDMI end of this adapter cable to the docking station and the DVI-D (female) end to my old (2005) Apple 23" cinema. Works Excellent!

Doesn't work for 2560x1440

I have a DVI KVM switch (MiniView GCS 1784) and although my graphics card *has* a DVI output, it only supports single channel mode so doesn't work with mine Monitor at full resolution of 2560x1440. I tried to work around this by switching my graphics card's HDMI output to DVI, but unfortunately it didn't work for me: I was only able to get a lower resolution.

Dual link DVI NOT supported, returned

My old one with a native DVI connector has expired. The new card only had HDMI and Displayport. I have a Dell 3007WFP-HC monitor that I've had since 2007 and it still works and I want to keep it that outputs 2560 x 1600 over a dual link DVI cable. It *worked* for him. but with half the resolution on each axis. 1280x800. I used a cable that I've been using for many years, so I know the problem isn't there. It just wouldn't let me use the native resolution on two different computers; my personalโ€ฆ
