Well if you use as supplied.

I had to cut the ends of the wires just for my installation. You can't use wire strippers with this, I had to use my Xacto knife, the wires inside are too fragile. Now I know I abused it. But if you have to do what I did, be careful. My reception is very good.

Solid and lots of extra stations

This little idea helped my old Realistic receiver pick up all the jazz and blues stations that didn't exist before. This is a T-shaped configuration, so type the first main part at the top and it will still be fuzzy. Lift a T-arm and it's clean, and after the second lever is nailed to the ceiling it's crystal clear. Not a bad investment at $6 - definitely a 10/10

It works - no wonder, but it helps reduce static and crackle!

I use this on a GE Superadio 2 in an optical lab. It definitely reduced the static and crackling I had previously. I pulled the tuning knob several times a day, but no more! I read a lot of reviews and most said that active antennas are no better and now I believe it too. I pulled it up the wall as far as possible and fixed it to the ceiling. Should have tried this a few years ago! Very good.

Worked way better than expected.

I appreciate very simple things that work. I've always loved my old garage radio, but in recent years it has moved to a new home. Of course all local radio stations are new to me. I finally found the one that plays the "oldies" that I like. But I was only able to get decent reception on cloudy days. So I bought this old-fashioned, very basic antenna with little expectation and low hopes. The thing worked like clockwork. I was completely blown away by the improved reception. Now I listen to my…

Works great, with one caveat!

Do you want this antenna to outperform a boosted antenna? Pass the antenna through the center of the round magnet (easy to get, Revain, Lowes, etc.). I fed mine to the "T" branch. I have it on a non-conductive surface. Significantly improved, now crystal clear reception! The only criticism is the thickness of the wires. I had to cut the blades and connect the wires directly to the receiver. You'll need to strip about 1 1/2 inches of insulation and then double or triple fold the bare wires and…
