Anchor 3122 Transmission Mount Review

The Anchor 3122 Transmission Mount may seem like a good choice for Automotive replacements but it isnt. As a result of my tests, I determined that this mount was too flimsy to withstand the daily wear and tear .It was poorly designed and I ended up with more transmission vibration than before. The only pro is that it is cheaper than other options, but the cons far outweigh any savings. Save yourself the trouble and go for a more reliable replacement..

Purchased this bracket to try and eliminate play in the transmission, engine and transmission brackets seem to be loose on my truck compared to other vehicles I have owned or other vehicles that have we work (BMW/Mercedes/Audi/ Mini). Right out of the box I can bend it back and forth with ease so there is plenty of movement when the gearbox and driveshaft hit it. I don't blame the armature as it was built to factory specs, but I do blame the design. Anchor could do better, but it is what it is.
