The quality is what you would expect for the price.

The quality matches the price and they were well packaged. The problem is the usability. The glass lids taper towards the top and become soft to the touch. If you have dry hands, the lids are very difficult to lift and put down safely. A couple of times I almost dropped one of them, oil got on the edge of the lid making it even more slippery.

Pros
  • Keep in the fridge, takes up little space
Cons
  • Wilting

They might have the benefit of coming in a pack of two. When one is empty, the other is already dishwasher safe and ready to use. A very simple design, it could be improved with a handle or knob on the lid, but other than that it's a good, sturdy, basic oiler. It's a heavy jar that looks like old Anchor Hocking, Beef Jerky jelly jars. If, like us, you want to leave the oil on the counter but have curious kittens, they won't be able to open it, and if you cover it with a clear plastic food…

Pros
  • Made in the USA
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Exactly what I was looking for!

A few years ago I bought two small Rubbermaid jars that only held a knob of butter. They've worked well for a long time, but lately I've had to put up with the lids not closing and the oil in the fridge being exposed to strange aromas. I always briefly soften the butter in the microwave, and I'm pretty sure that ended up breaking the seal, although I always removed the lid first. In any case, I've been looking for new ones for a long time, but it seems that such forms no longer exist. So I was…

Pros
  • Clear and smooth glass
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
