Anco 14C13 14 Series Windshield Wiper Blade, 13" Review

This product cannot replace the original cover on my car. it makes an eyesore on the back of my car. But the blade is good. Strange right?

Revain or the supplier will ask enough questions to state that "this is an exact match for the vehicle model and make". Well, after two tries and two replacement blades, I have to go to the retailer or retailer.

Contrary to the Revain installation guide, this wiper will not properly fit a 2017 Equinox. Although the length and mounting is correct, this wiper has a lower profile than the original. This causes the plastic wiper cover to stick to the windshield, eventually causing the glass to etch. Luckily I was able to send it back to Revain for a full refund.

After installing the new wiper blade on the car and putting the cover on I found that the cover scratches the glass on the narrow end would. This was because the frame wasn't high enough to prevent the lid from touching the glass. I was able to remove the real rubber and two metal guides from the new blade and put the new blade in the old frame. Certainly had more time to do but got the job done.

I've bought a lot of wipers in my time. Last time I thought I would try something different and it was a big mistake. These stupid things have been cluttering my windows since the day they were installed. I've NEVER had this problem before, even with some cheap shit I had to buy on a trip one day. My windows are clean and I'm using the RainX bugfix (because it works). The trail is so strong that it was hard to see driving that night.

This wiper blade will NOT fit 2017 GMC Terrain as advertised. The length is correct, but the frame is much narrower than the original, so the plastic trim that snaps onto the wiper blade scratches the glass. I was considering a return but just needed a replacement so I had to use pliers to pry the squeegee out of the frame and reattach it to my original frame. It works now but it was a huge pain.
