Not suitable for plastic pipes!

I have used this for plastic tubing and the misalignment caused it to leak immediately. When I took it apart, one of the brass compression fittings twisted and became unusable. I found a plastic quick release which I also ordered and it worked great.

Useless period!: Connections

Worst compression fitting I have ever used. I tried the cheap way and got cheap crap. I'm not new to this game. The tips suck, there's no central tube support to push them down and maintain proper alignment. Nothing beats a Swedgeloc fitting. I waited 2 days so I don't have to drive into town to get one and 4 days later I drive into town to get one which is worth it. Said Nuf!

There are two plastic tubes where both bushings twist and cut into the tubes. There is a copper pipe that doesn't appear to be twisted but is still leaking. I had to go to Home Depot to buy two new plastic bushings and inserts that fit nicely in the case. Thanks to the exchange of sleeves and the addition of inserts, there is…
