Looks good but is not suitable for drinking water.

I apparently did not read all the seller's descriptions. I ordered this 56122 brass fitting from Anderson Metals to add a pressure gauge to my cabin water system. I didn't realize it contained lead until I received it. It is therefore not suitable for use in drinking water systems. It looks well made so I'm going to add it to my collection of faucets for other non-potable water projects.

Pros
  • hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing
Cons
  • some small things

The product described on Revain.com is a "Nipple for joining two threaded tubes" and the picture shows a brass fitting with threads on both ends. Although the fitting received is the same part number (56122), it does not look like the one pictured or described (it is only threaded on one end). Since this item only costs about $5, the return process isn't worth it and I suspect exchanging will only result in me getting the wrong item a second time.

Pros
  • Tube Fittings
Cons
  • Crumpled Box
