I ordered these to repair my hoses which used to have a lifetime warranty! Well, not anymore. Some of these hoses are over 20 years old and I wanted a quality machined brass coupler that would last another 20 years! Found her! To complete the installation I used a PEX pipe sleeve. Our 25ft coiled hose used to water plants on the back patio was leaking. Trying to stop the leak repair tape rubber grommet (you know what they make the boat out of) marine 2 part epoxy a combination of both no die after a few days they were all released this solid brass fitting perfectly fits the ID, just a little twisting is required to secure it. Luckily the hose was out in the sun. I didn't know if it was necessary but I attached a small worm drive clamp to it. Excellent! No leaks. Well…

BEST PRICE I found this rare item in this hose size. The only thing available at major hardware stores of the same quality was under $10 which I don't want to pay. Their alternative product was PLASTIC made in China. I refuse to buy it because it's cheap and costs more with frequent replacement! , round hose ends by stepping on or running over with a car tire!
