This was exactly what I was looking for - I didn't want to throw this hair clipper set in the trash because I couldn't find replacement blades in stores. The blade was new in the box BUT one of the teeth on the back of the blade was bent. So I tried bending it back and it broke. Even the real cutting blade didn't work on my clippers. I tried adjusting them anyway, but they kept making noise or not cutting. I poured a lot of oil into it. Not cut yet. I don't know how it came out of the packaging like that.

I bought my Andis clipper 01557 in 2007. Couldn't be happier. Blades replaced this year. Once they worked fine. When I tried to cut my hair two weeks later, the blades fused together. I had to take them apart, dust them with sand and a wire brush to make them work. In 11 years the original blades have never had a problem. I will never buy from this company again. Unfortunately I have already thrown away the old ones. Very disappointing!

I always love getting new blades but the first time changing my masters was as easy as any other clipper. It was louder initially, which confused me, but not that bad. The noise disappeared within about a week or five days of operation. Shut up again after 2 weeks

With extra teeth on the clipper blade, it helps to blend the hair for a smoother cutting line. Great blade, just ordered another pair for my new cordless masters.

I ordered this product and had to return it as a tooth was broken but I had no problem contacting the company and getting a new one to get. I didn't even have to wait to send the old one back to get the new one. As long as I sent the old one back within a certain period of time, I wasn't charged extra. I would buy this again.

Bought by my master Andis in 1978, worked as a professional barber for 5 years and used the same blades sporadically for 39 years. Replaced them with these blades a year and a half ago. Now they're so dull they can't even cut their hair. Used maybe 15 times. The old blades were stainless steel and never rusted, these blades started rusting from day one.

My Andis Clippers are almost 20+ years old. Although I regularly clean the blades and body, I do not sharpen or replace the blades themselves. I bought a 28 tooth blade because it has more teeth. the smoother the cut. My Andis clippers are now working like new. I had to replace the blades 10 years ago so I bought two replacement sets, one for now and one for later. I expect my Andis Fade Masters to last at least 20 more years. By the way.
