But nice hair dryer.

This product has a nice design, feels good in the hand and is not as noisy as a normal hair dryer. I noticed that when blow-drying my daughter's very thick hair, the comb kept falling off. I had to manually hold the comb where it connects to the hair dryer to complete the hairstyle. Time will tell if this was an isolated incident or if the comb continues to do so.

The heat died in less than 2 weeks!

After reading the reviews I was skeptical about ordering this product but wanted to try it. Well the airflow started to change from high to medium on first use and smelled a bit burnt but kept using it. I loved how my hair looked after the first use and it definitely looked different than my old Costco hair dryer (has worked for years). The power wasn't very powerful and it still took me 25 minutes to blow dry my hair, but I liked the way my hair looked. However unfortunately less than 2 weeks…

Update!: Hair Care

I often throw out my hair dryers. You buy them at the store and bring them home and then hate them. Sending it back is too cumbersome, so it's in the drawer. They're either not hot enough or they blow your hair out. It's perfect! It gets very hot and I use both high and low settings when drying my hair. I'm buying a second one as I travel a lot and have to fight with my spouse over who gets to use it! Andis is a great producer! ****Update: I have completed 3 of these in about a year and a half.

I didn't last long.

I got this in August 2019 and in December it was already falling apart and I'm not a hairdresser so I don't use it often but it shouldn't come off that quickly and it makes a bad noise like it would soon stop working and the front broke within 2 months so I can't snap the added parts and they won't even stay if they don't break. It's really cheaply made and wasn't entirely satisfied. I find it positive that it serves to dry the hair.

The best hair dryer - I recommend it to everyone

This Andis 1875-watt Tourmaline Ceramic hair dryer was recommended to me by my stylist. He's absolutely right, they're the best. It gets very hot and dries long hair very well. The ladies in the house are enthusiastic about him. It has great accessories and the soft black ceramic feels comfortable. Highly recommended! (Don't buy the old glossy white model - it works just as well, but the new black model looks nicer and prettier in the hands and looks more elegant. The old white model also looks

Comb won't stay on dryer

Let me say that before I rant. I support Andis products, have always supported them and will continue to do so. They make great dryers and I'm generally happy, but THIS particular product is disappointing. The comb attachment doesn't screw into the dryer, it just sits there and comes off with a half sneeze. I have pretty thick hair, but in general it's manageable. This comb head design doesn't do the job. I comb my hair to get out any kinks before I blow dry it and even then the comb pops out…

Impression hair dryer

Impression. In my opinion, Andis is a brand with a great reputation and this dryer definitely comes out on top! A lot of people who left reviews complained that they had trouble holding the comb, which made me very reluctant to buy it, but I'm really glad I did. I don't know much about "hair types" but if I had to guess I'd say I'm definitely a 4a, 4b and haven't had any problems with the comb; actually the opposite - I struggled to take it off to put the dryer away! Maybe I'm just good at…
