I bought these guides to use with Andis T-Liners and saved myself the extra clippers I use for trimming. The guides themselves appear to be of good quality and fit perfectly. My problem is that my T-bar has no clearance and the guides limit the movement of the blades. My point is that they probably do the job just fine for those with T-Pads and they install exactly as they were purchased. .

Clips on combs are useless, I always test things on myself before using them on a client. The attachments pull hair even when moving slowly and hurt every time you touch them. I'm just waiting for it to draw and it will happen. I've been a hairdresser for 37 years and this has never happened to me with my Osters clippers, peanut trimmer or Wahl trimmer. I think these other people have hair pulling problems because of this, and. I've been using them for years and have never had any hair pulling problems. I have no idea what the difference could be. They work great for me! And the price is right!

The product is excellent. But the seller was even better. My elderly father was in dire need of a haircut. I bought a guard before the trip, but the arrival time was much later than my trip. I wrote to them explaining my situation and they arrived two hours before I left. I bought these new combs because the original combs (that came with the T Outliner) were more brittle. They were less than effective as they repeatedly injured my face. At first I thought it might be the trimmer itself so I switched trimmer blades but with the same result. Eventually I used my old combs and found that they didn't pull my hair. The locking mechanism works well, just make sure you hear a click. Genuine Andis parts will fit more trimmers than those listed, just make sure they are the correct width (and do so at your own risk). Glad I found them instead of buying a new unit because of a broken rail!
