Check blade alignment before use.

It pulled hair terribly out of the box. The upper knife was bent and pushed too far forward. After I made the adjustment (loosen the screws on the bottom, slide the top blade back so it was completely straight and the top blade troughs were behind the bottom blade troughs) it worked better. There are still the occasional snags, but it works well enough for home use. I wouldn't trust that in a commercial or professional setting. I have a Wahl Competition blade that works out of the box, which is

STUPID! Beauty & Personal Care

Very disappointed. I replaced my old guards who were 5-7 years old. These guards don't give a clean cut. I thought it was just me, but when I tried a co-worker's combs (we have the same clippers) all of her OLD combs cut better than my new ones. If you are a hairdresser or stylist, just go to the store, at least it is easier to return a defective product.

Pros
  • Well built

RUSTY AND NOT WORKING

Blade does not cut hair at all. all he did was pull my clients hair out. also it will get discolored/rusty. The left blade is the blade I've had for over a year and the right one is the one I received. Tried to contact the seller so far no response

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Approximately

Terrible hair cutting tools

I am very disappointed in this blade! He cuts his hair wrong and pulls his hair out. I had to order an oster instead of the Andis brand!

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • Requires socket

Much better than plastic clip-on combs

I have been clipping my Labradoodle for several years with an Andis clipper with plastic combs for different length hair. The plastic combs get under the hair and come loose. Having the right blade for the main body really speeds things up. The results seem to be smoother, although I can't be sure. Now I have a size 2 (summer) and 3-1/2 (winter). The time saving is worth the modest price of a single blade.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Cutting is more like OA, Horror

Almost on the verge of not buying from Revain anymore. I'm a licensed beautician and this blade should cut as close as a razor. Suitable are the ones I bought in the salon, a sucker or a cosmoprof. I only got this because I couldn't get to the stores. It's more like 0a

  • Build Quality

Good by Beauty & Personal Care

There are times when you need a longer haircut. I've found that switching to a longer blade works smoother than a plastic blade extender in some cases.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
