Problem controlling 3 lamps from the remote control.

All controls for all lights, it will be a headache when you have to setup individual lights. After using the product, I would choose a manual product for easy control, it will be very easy to work with. The top light stand is not very strong. It tends to sag under its own weight. OK for the price.

It's $100, but it's only $100

It's great for what it is, like $100 with three lights, but it's bright like you could in a dark one Shooting space at ISO 100, shutter speed 1/50 f4 is no problem. So it's not very bright, but it's also three $100 lights. It has to be plugged in everywhere, but it's a constant light, not a flash. The bag it comes in is super cheap and the bar stand can't support a ton of weight, but it costs $100. If that's for you then great, if not use a Yongnuo 560 iv or cheaper flash for a slave.

Work great.: Softboxes

I am a beginner and to my knowledge this is the perfect option for a beginner in studio lighting for photography. They are very heavy and to avoid falling which could shatter the lamps or the softboxes becoming disconnected from the stands, do yourself a service. And look for soft box weights OR save some money and look for dome weights. Basically you're looking for cloth bags that you can put sand or rocks or whatever in to put them on the bottom legs of the softboxes to balance the weight so…

Nice lamps, very adjustable

Bought a couple of these to use as main lighting in a guest room that was converted into a studio for podcasts and live and recorded performances. They were easy to install, and the ability to adjust light levels made precise placement less critical. Color matching also comes in handy when trying to create a specific look. Each lamp has its own remote control, but one remote control can control both lamps. I also took some product photos with them as they provide soft, even light. They're…

The Absolute Best Softbox Lighting Kit for Photography on Revain

This is the absolute best lighting kit for home studio or photography at a fantastic price of just over $100. It has 3 headlights and one even has an adjustable boom and a sandbag as a counterweight. Each softbox has 4 large soft CFL bulbs in one light head. Each head has a switch to turn on just 2 lights or all 4 lights. The amount of bright ambient light is impressive and offers excellent coverage. I use 2 as side lights and one on the arrow as the main light. This is a great set for those…

Decent deal, with some simple 'issues'

UPDATE 9/4: Kit is ok but 4 CFL bulbs broke, either stopped working or broke while screwing them in. Do yourself a favor and buy a set of 12 5000k LED bulbs, I've compared them side by side and they're almost indistinguishable in terms of wattage to the supplied CFL bulbs, and although they are far more expensive photo quality bulbs are. there I'm pretty sure it's not what's included, and the bulbs I received were comparable, costing me $20 for a pack of 12; Also, I don't have to worry about…
