Too expensive for something that doesn't work

The user manual says it's practically plug and play, with the stylus and weight factory installed. The manual doesn't even say how to adjust the arm weight. The one I got sounded muddy on some records, and cracked a bit on some records. When he discussed this with the Andover helpdesk, Andover said to adjust the weight. The only way to get rid of the muddy sound is to fully adjust the weight, but back then the sound wasn't that full. Was it a bad pen? The design of the strap going around the…

Combine with Spinbase

I bought this to replace and upgrade my player case and I couldn't be happier. I paired it with an Andover Spinbase and the sound quality was amazing. Best of all, it doesn't take up much more space than my old case player. Now I have excellent sound quality throughout the house.

A good entry-level table if it works properly.

That was my first turntable. I ended up returning it due to a defect and upgraded to Fluance RT85. The cartridge sat at an odd angle and rubbed against my records behind the needle. Too bad because I really enjoyed it. Easy to set up. Good sound for the price. The satik was a big problem and there was more crackling and popping in the background than I would have liked, but who knows if it was a bad cartridge or not. I also bought an Andover Spinbase speaker which I've kept and I love it. After

Damn good turntable

I bought this turntable along with the Revain Spindeck speaker. This is a well built turntable with a good pickup. It's pretty much plug and play. Just attach the strap, plug in the audio cables and you're good to go. No tracking settings, no anti-skating settings. It's already been done for you. Makes beautiful music. The only thing I don't like is that it's a fully manual (like most professional) player. This means you have to stand at the end of the plate and return the arm to its original…
