Super quality product. Much stronger than any other adapter like this I've ever used. Super versatile and rubber ring on top keeps your gear securely in place.

I bought this ball head to make my R1 flashlight easier to use as I also have a P1 but the P1 has a pretty good mount. This ball head is perfect and very well built also has some very handy features for other types of accessories like cold mounts.

I've used several ball sockets over the years but most of these were fairly cheaply made. This ball, on the other hand, has a solid build quality. In use, it makes a very high-quality and durable impression. I found the design very interesting as the top plate can be flipped over to have a 1/4 inch mount or a cold shoe mount. My only complaint would be that there is no way to attach this ball head to the quarter inch thread on the bottom.

This shoe adapter is very well made. There's no cheap plastic here - it's solid metal, well made and versatile. I've used it to mount recording equipment on my camera, mount lighting fixtures on light stands, and mount various electronics. It is durable - nothing moves when locking, nothing sags. Just a reliable install of what you want to install. I have six and want more. Excellent investment.

Well made with quality materials, compact/small footprint, cold shoe or 1/4-20 thread up or down possible. Downgraded to 4 stars for 2 reasons, 1). The ball cocking knob is directly opposite the groove, allowing you to lay the accessory horizontally (at a 90 degree angle).
