My cute boy has orange eyes too so I chose a white studded collar! I read another review that said the white collar made her cat look gay. 1. Seriously? 2. MY cat looks great! I also have a cat and she has the same black collar. What does that have to do with their sexual preferences? Some people are like that. frustratingly clueless. I love collars! Sturdy and well made!

My Sphynx has had this collar for a few months now. I needed a collar that would easily wipe or rinse off the sebum. It cleans very easily and hey, it looks cool. The elastic part is still intact after all this time, I can see a rubber webbing or two sticking out but I honestly expected more wear and tear after wearing it for many months. Great product, I will buy again

Almost a year later this collar still looks brand new. The photos in this review show the collar after 11 months of use. The leather is soft, the rivets are rounded to prevent scratches, and the collar is durable and looks good. All pins are still intact. Our cat is a sturdy and solid 12lb short haired mouse/pooch. It uses the first (narrowest) hole. There are 4 more holes if your cat needs more width.

It says it has an elastic tear but my cat somehow managed to get her front paw into the collar up to the elbow while wearing it around her neck. Thank god she made a noise that woke me up because she was stuck and not moving. The collar never came off and she would have died if I hadn't woken up. She wore this collar for a year with no problems, but everything changed immediately. This is not a real rip-off collar and not worth risking your cat's life for.

The collars are photoshopped onto a white background so it appears as if the room is lit and the collar color you see will match what you see. Isn't it, now my cat looks like he prefers other cats in his white spiked collar. I also had to use the tiniest notch to fit this adult and albeit fat cat, so there's a lot of unnecessary extra rivets and material. This collar will most likely not fit a small to medium sized cat. It's actually just a small dog collar. It's not even for cats.

I have several cats. They quickly tear nylon/cloth collars when scratching their necks. This one will take much longer. Two other things I like about this collar are the 1/2 inch width (the usual 3/8 inch width is not visible on most cats from more than a few feet because it is covered in fur) and the tension in the choker collar. "Tearable" part of the collar (some collars are so easy that the cat takes them off after 5 minutes, this collar is accessible in an emergency but is not otherwise…

Well made collar. I have now bought 5 of these, they are worth the money. Our cats have a Houdini collar. After going through a million breakaway collars, we bought them hoping they would be a little harder to lose. Our original purchase has been on the white cat for almost a year now, we keep it clean but know that if it gets caught on something the elastic will stretch so it can escape.
