Description of Angle grinder Makita GA9050, 2000 W, 230 mm, without battery

The angle grinder of a well-known Japanese brand is designed for intensive cutting and grinding work. The high performance of the grinder is provided by a 2 kW engine. Makita GA9050 is an example of a safe tool. Change of its equipment is carried out using the spindle lock, double insulation eliminates electric shock, and a tight fit of the casing to the disc protects against injury. Working with the Makita GA9050 is a real pleasure. The handle with rubberized inserts and an additional handle provide a strong grip of the tool, and a relatively small mass does not tire the palm during operation. In addition, the angle grinder body has a hole for replacing the brushes, and you do not have to disassemble half the grinder to carry out this fairly regular procedure.

Good value for money, I recommend.

The machine is a beast, I’m satisfied, I bought a suction nozzle for it in a vacuum cleaner, a duster, there is dust, but not in such quantity, which helps to work longer. I also bought a DWE 4347 recently, it costs three times more, but I sanded a 5x13 log house from the inside, which stood for more than 10 years, a brush grinder is common, it died immediately.

Pros
  • Turnovers are honest, concrete cuts like clockwork. The disk is inexpensive from Leroy. Spindle lock, locking the power button from accidental pressing
Cons
  • There is no blocking of the power button, the two-position handle is only in directions along the disk, there is no soft start when turned on, there is a return

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

The price, I think, for all models of the Makita tool is too high, even if it is made in Romania or China, but it is better to buy a tool from this company than some clumsy Bison or Whirlwind. Some pros: Noise from work is not as pressing on the ears as on cheaper models. The balance is excellent, the handle is comfortable. With its cons: There is no permanent lock button when pressed, I had to turn the gearbox 90 degrees, although the instructions do not say anything about this, but almost all

I recommend investing in skeptics. Its advantages are as follows: I have been using the grinder since May 2022; when I placed the order, the Makita brand was bribed; during the time that I have used it, so far I do not regret making the purchase; I used it when cutting walls in the garage; I widened the gate by sawing silicate brick from both sides. Dust from the brick that was sliced by the grinder settled within a radius of five meters, the stator and anchor of the grinder survived, however…

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

The grinder is very small for having a power output of 2022W. Beautiful plastic. A long and pliable cable. assurance in the superiority of the Makita product. The production country of Romania. Cons: There is no slow start; it starts extremely suddenly, which is a very significant negative aspect of the product. There is no conventional case; yet, the price that I paid for it was reasonable.

Quality at zero, very sorry for the money spent.

With all the ergonomics of the angle grinder, the lack of a lock on the power on is a drawback. It doesn’t work for a long time, the brush gets tired. Or did they come up with this on purpose? But it's all . But what is not garbage is that after 2 months I had to buy a gearbox housing. I don't even want to remember its cost. Jammed disk, tried to unscrew to change. I don’t know how it could be done, but when the spindle (on) was locked, a piece of the gearbox housing broke off. Such pies.

Pros
  • Powerful
Cons
  • No start fixation, very weak gearbox housing

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

The tool is quite compact and light compared to classmates, it is comfortable to hold in your hands. Add. the plastic handle is comfortable, it can be screwed in only two positions (there is no middle socket), but in the end, you can hold a device that is not 6 kg anyway. Wire 2x1.0 soft, flexible, rubberized. The gear part can be rotated 90 degrees. and set so that the handle with the switch looks down. To do this, just unscrew the four screws from the end of the case - turn your head…

Pros
  • The tool is qualitatively made, convenient, the power is sufficient for construction of non-industrial scales.
Cons
  • A short wire implies a small area (treated with an extension cord). The absence of a soft start is most acutely felt when you turn it on out of the box, in working with the disk installed and the handle screwed on, a similar drawback is felt . somehow, to put it mildly, not very much, only a load on the power grid.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Got pros: Big solid machine. Bought on sale for 5k. While winter - plainly did not use. I will add a review in the summer Cons: There is no soft start - at the start it tries to escape from the hands.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

I advise to buy doubters. Different pros: I have been using the grinder since May 2022, when ordering, the Makita brand was bribed, during the time of use so far I have not regretted the purchase, I used it when cutting walls in the garage, expanded the gate (silicate brick, sawn from both sides). The dust from the brick cut by the grinder settled within a radius of 5 meters, the grinder's stator and anchor survived, not every grinder can withstand this. The Bulgarian lay in the house without…

Bulgarian fire. I sawed her a barrel in the country 1500x2022x12mm. I had to cut for about 4 hours almost continuously. The gearbox did not heat up at all from the word, the grinder itself also remained almost cold. Very powerful, it was not realistic to slow it down, the protection on the gas generator worked faster. Naturally, for such an amount there is no soft start, keep this in mind if you work from a gas generator! Not everyone is able to digest her launch. Many stall or protection…

Pros
  • Power, workmanship.
Cons
  • If only weight.

The quality is at zero, very sorry for the money spent.

On the one hand, Makita is far from a leftist brand, hence the price is probably dancing. On the other hand, it needs to be sold at least twice as cheap. 1) Body parts are not processed, there are sags. 2) The assembly is a little lively. Moves in the hands. I had to tighten, at the same time cut off the influx. 3) The gearbox housing is visually cracked. Perhaps a casting defect, because the crack does not diverge. 4) The start button is not blocked. She stopped working after half a month.…

Pros
  • Pretty powerful.
Cons
  • No material and build quality, high price.

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I took it for personal use for 5500 on the market, this is the main plus. At the construction site, this grinder was the main test when she sawed 8 mm iron for mortgages for wall braces in the ground with dimensions of 500 × 800 from large sheets, because such dimensions are from such metal sawing this suicide, then our Bulgarian simply rested the front of the disk against the metal and pressed with all his weight because it pinched differently. , the disks flew apart, in addition to this, she

Pros
  • Lightweight, powerful
Cons
  • Soft start feedback

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

Pros below: The grinder is very compact for its 2022W. Nice plastic. Long soft cord. Confidence in the quality of the Makita. Production Romania. Got cons: There is no soft start - it starts very abruptly, this is a rather serious minus. There is no regular case (however, I did not overpay for it).
