Does not work on all vehicles Aux Port (cigarette lighter)

I bought this for my son and we tried it on his 2006 Honda Element (could have been earlier, I forgot) and it didn't work but it worked on my 2014 Cruze with no issues. Turns out the aux port on the Honda has a deep center pin, and the center pin on this USB charger isn't long enough for a pin. Instead of changing it, I took out the center pin (it unscrews easily) and added a drop of solder, making the contact longer. This worked and is now communicating with Honda's auxiliary port.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Nice. So good.

For some reason my friend's phone has a vendetta against ALL my chargers. Her phone broke about half a dozen times just by plugging it in once, both at home and in my car. I don't know what the problem is and why he likes to ruin my stuff? I found this to be the only charger that would work well with her phone. Works fine for me too, but my phone is much more lax about who it's connected to. The quality seems really good and it is very unobtrusive. It's only been a few weeks but I'll let you…

Stay Away From It - UPDATED

I don't usually review these products but thought I'd save you some money as you're better off getting similar products that are better work as this. Anker usually means quality, but for some reason they missed that, as the USB ports are so close to the edges that it's very difficult to plug in devices and especially difficult to take them out since you're unplugging and then unplugging the entire charger need the cable USB because it is so narrow. Also, for some reason, the bottom USB port is…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
