Typical Anker quality

Normal anchor quality. The outer fabric covering on high-end anchor cables like these goes a long way in preventing twisting and making the cable slightly easier to bend. I use this cable primarily with the Anker PD charger and the combo charger charges super fast every time. I really don't see any flaws with this cable. Good price, wish it was cheaper. But so it's a good price. I was trying to find a 10ft version of the same cable and it didn't seem to have been manufactured which was pretty…

Pros
  • What you get: PowerLine+ III USB-C to Lightning cable (1.8m), welcome guide, hassle-free lifetime warranty, and friendly customer service.
Cons
  • Low repairability

Looks and works as expected

I always try to go with PowerLine+ cables as they seem to be lighter/more flexible and feel better than other options and this was no exception. I didn't see a big difference in thickness, but I could feel it. It's slightly thinner than older models. Build quality is great as always, but if color or thickness aren't a priority and you're just looking for a cable, I'd go with the Powerline+ II cables instead. Positive sides: + 18 watts. Powerful + thin + flexible + tight fit + flush logo Cons: -

Pros
  • Fast Charge Compatible: Plug in an 18W USB-C charger to enjoy Power Delivery high-speed charging. (Charger not included)
Cons
  • Mostly OK

Anker Makes Quality Products

cable is more expensive. But it's USB-C to Lightning, and there are other similar brands out there that have cables that are just as expensive, if not more so. I'm used to using Anker products and one day I had a problem and they refunded the money for the product. It seems like a brand that makes and supports decent stuff. I was a big fan of the sleeves they used in the previous generation. This one doesn't feel as comfortable / seems cheaper. Perhaps this is actually a more durable material…

Pros
  • Built to last: The PowerLine+ III has an ultra-thin design with a 35,000 bend lifespan, making it thinner yet stronger than ever.
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

I was so happy to finally purchase TWO anchor cables, not one yet, BOTH cables stopped working after only 4 and then 5 weeks! DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY! DEFECTIVE cables! Somewhere in the middle where the end of the lighting starts and where the wires connect to the end, all you have to do is bend it a little and the iPhone won't charge for long with this cable plugged into AC. ZERO STARS for being one of the most expensive but not durable at all! DO NOT BUY THIS NOW, the cable is 2.5 years old…

Pros
  • high speed data transmission. Transfer movies, music or your entire photo library in seconds with a transfer speed of 480 Mbit/s.
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Looks great; Less robust

Update (08/15/2020): Anker's customer service contacted me as usual and sent me a replacement. They care about customer satisfaction so it's always refreshing. After using the cable for a few weeks I can at least say that it has lasted longer than the first one. However, I can't say more because I won't be specifically testing it for strength/breaking the cable to see if it breaks easily or not. This replacement cable doesn't change the fact that the original cable failed very quickly/easily…

Pros
  • Certified compatibility: MFi certified for flawless compatibility with Lightning devices for safe charging at the fastest possible speed.
Cons
  • Long delivery
