The fit and finish of this device is fantastic. I loved how it attaches to my m1 Macbook Air. However, I wasn't expecting the phantom power this device consumes. My computer has PHENOMENAL battery life. But if I accidentally leave this thing in my laptop (even while it's sleeping), I'll end up with a dead or almost dead battery every few hours. Bought for my son who uses a drawing pad that requires 2 USB and HDMI. This unit had everything you need. However, when the device was connected to the MacBook Pro 2019, for some reason it was interfering with the Wi-Fi connection. Wifi seems to be connected but the web page takes forever to load. Once the device is unplugged, the Wi-Fi connection returns to normal to load the webpage immediately. I will return this device in the evening.

Updated - Got a new block from Anker. A new fully loaded unit heats up from ambient to about 95 degrees, which is much lower than the previous unit. I ran a test with multiple USB sticks while loading and playing video on an HDTV to see how it gets as far through the unit as possible. Anker is usually my favorite brand when it comes to power banks, chargers and quality aftermarket cables. However, this particular point disappointed me. Problems: 1. Product is too big2. Too thick. When I connect it to my MacBook Pro from the side, it creates a "gap" of about 1/16 to 1/8 inch. I bought this to use with a 2020 MacBook Pro that we just ordered. In order for it to work, I had to press hard enough for the light to come on. I have a Mac Pro and I'm using a USB-C hub to connect the charger, wireless mouse driver and HDMI connect cable to my monitor. When I first tried this, I found that the USB ports weren't working with my wireless mouse driver, although I have other USB-C hubs that do. I also tried connecting my USB printer to see if it was just a mouse driver compatibility issue and that didn't work either. I've tested both the USB printer and mouse driver with two different adapters I have and both worked fine.

This is a quality product at a reasonable price compared to the HyperDrive brand.
