This little thing is amazing!

This is such a lightweight and portable adapter. Only used for a few days but so far so good. I can't tell you how small, light and thin it is!

Smooth as a Rick best in Computers & Accessories

I have this thing for the samsung dex feature on my phone. Great price for a generic SSD. Works well with my cell phone. I'll get another one for my dad. I would have liked more USB ports. But look at what it is and look at the price. Genius.

Not so fast. for external SSD

It can be faster as an external SSD. Transferring a 4.2GB 7z archive from the hub to my new ThinkPad's internal SSD took 1 minute. 45 sec. Transmission back to the hub took 2:25. Also, the product description should make it clearer that the USB-C power input port has no data transfer function at all.

If you have a Macbook you need this

I don't have a Macbook but I have a laptop with 2 USB-C ports so it's a great deal. I needed a USB hub and extra storage so this was perfect and it doubles as a charger when you really need it! and if you have a phone that connects to the display, it acts as an HDMI dock for your phone! definitely a must in this newly changing standardized usb-c world

Internal SSD VERY fast

So if you have a pair of new Apple MacBooks with USB-C ports, you must have several of these adapters for mice, keyboards, printers, etc. I have a few more, and I've used the USB ports to connect a flash drive to move a large batch of movies around. The thing is incredibly fast. I think I just moved 6GB in about 10 or 15 seconds. I was amazed at how quickly the files were copied. Wow, just like my Anker 7-in-1 hub but with an SSD

I already have an Anker 7-in-1 USB-C hub that's almost the same size and the same has weight. The familiarity + form factor between this SSD hub and my other Anker adapter is amazing. Also, this SSD hub lets you plug in the cable, making it even more portable and compact than my other Anker USB-C hub.
