Image is misleading

In many ways this cold pack has lived up to my expectations. He wrapped my ankle in soothing ice. The top of my foot near my ankle was also covered in ice. So far, so good. The only downside (and I think it's a significant one) is the fact that the heel sole and arch also suffer. I need to figure out how to attach an ice pack to the sole of my foot. I have a feeling the picture of the pack was deceiving. As long as the strap goes under the leg, there is no ice.

I don't like cold compresses.

I was so excited when I found this but the ice pack is not flexible. The pouch freezes like water and turns into ice. Maybe I missed it in the description or it's not listed, I don't know. I have a painful heel spur and this was the first spur to hit the back of the heel and Achilles tendon. Because it's so heavy, I can't pull it hard enough to touch my heel, nor can I put my foot on something to press it into my heel. It cools fairly well, although there is a gap where it gets tight and…

Why are the straps different?

Just got mine, didn't have time to use it but tried it on. The ankle strap I received has a different strap configuration than shown in the video. The one I have has a strap that goes under the floor at the bend and the bandage part on the foot has no strap to hold it properly. If you pull the healing band around the foot it will hold it in place but it will be uncomfortable as the band will be much tighter than intended. I will add my own velcro to make it work properly. Aside from the strap…

Would have been better with a gel pack than ice

I've had Achilles for almost ten years now and it's getting worse - it doesn't help that I'm very active in tennis and golf. I have large calves, so the top fits snugly. If the bandage were a bit shorter and with heel protection, it would be more effective. I'm not sure how this product will help with sole foot issues. Caveat: I put the ice pack in the freezer overnight and after golf (walking) I went to the ice pack. The ice cream "bubbled" and looked like it would have popped if I held it…

Best Ankle Brace

My foot was hit by a golf cart which broke my ankle and injured my achilles tendon. This is not ice on the sole of the foot but on all parts above it including the back of the heel and top of the leg. He has an ice pack (not gel) that lasts about 30-40 minutes, which is longer than doctors recommend. I use 1/2 paper towel when I put it on so it doesn't get that cold at first. There is a mesh lining that keeps the ice pack in place and makes it easy to put on. Since the ice pack can get stiff if
