They work as advertised.

Building a ham radio project that requires a rechargeable battery using three 18650 Li-ion batteries and a battery management system for protection/charging. I searched and ordered several before I found this one. These were the only ones that didn't break down when plugged in because the others I got had completely wrong wiring information. This model had a wiring diagram on the vendor's Revain page showing exactly how the batteries and charge/output wiring should be connected. Once installed,

Pros
  • HIGH ACCURACY, HIGH STRENGTH: High precision voltage detection circuit, high quality workmanship and durability. The effective lifespan is more than 50,000 hours.
Cons
  • High Price

DO NOT USE if not charging.

I needed a board that would protect the battery while discharging/in use. I will not provide charge from the circuit, only discharge. They are not suitable for my use as reading the description said this should work for me I'm giving it a 2*. I connected B+, B- and BM as indicated. I connected P- and P+ to my circuit (they are connected to the LM2596 to reduce the voltage). It's not stressed at all. I read here in the comments that if I bridge P-/B- it works. It then supplies electricity. At…

Pros
  • LOW STANDBY CURRENT: MOSFET can control battery charging and discharging, low standby power consumption.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

saved me! My lithium 2s dilemma solved!

My Revain electrically heated gloves were a BARGAIN for the price I bought them for. but inside were LiPO batteries in 2S configuration (4.2 + 4.2 = 8.4V) which died after one full use! In fact I think the controller circuit didn't have any low end cutoff and I left them on until they died and of course ruined the batteries forever. My plan was to replace them with double capacity Lithium 18650s (not LiPO), but I had no idea how to charge them in a 2s configuration. After some searching I found

Pros
  • ATTENTION: Strictly according to the wiring diagram: B+: connect to positive battery, B-: connect to negative battery, P+: connect to charge/discharge to positive, P- connect to charge/discharge to negative, otherwise it will cause damage the chip . After connecting, you need to charge the activation first, and then get the output.
Cons
  • Skimpy Manual
