Affordable and quiet

I bought this fan to replace an old AM2+ fan that was very noisy. After installing this fan, the day-night difference and the CPU will be significantly cooled. Installation was very easy as it could be mounted on a standard motherboard bracket.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Fits old AM3 connectors! That's great! See my photos. It's compact and powerful! Just two straight copper tubes, but that's ok. I have a HD p7-1010 with a Foxconn 2AB1 mobo. This is probably the only cool fan/heatsink that would fit in my case and phone. I am very happy that I received this. On my Phenom II X6 1065T, the standby temperature is 20 degrees. At 75% load, the CPU temperature reached 35/38 Β°C, which is amazing. The only criticism is that the fans run at a maximum speed of 1700 rpm…

  • This is amazing

Great tower upgrade, affordable and compact

I was really upset when I saw Cooler Master scrap the Hyper t2 as it was my favorite under $20 aftermarket heatsink. After some searching in Revain I found what appeared to be almost a spiritual successor. 2 heatpipes, 92mm fan and less than 160mm height. I decided to try a personal HTPC with an i5-2400 processor and immediately saw my temperature drop. From the 80's, which were heavily influenced by gaming, to the mid 60's, I couldn't be happier. The fan glows blue, which reminds me of late…

Pros
  • Good looking
Cons
  • Some bugs

Cooling i5-6600k at the drain. zero problems.

Needed a cheap i5 cooler. My existing Hyper 212 was too big. The mount is a bit odd, but it's easy to install and works. A few weeks and no problems. It's just a file server so I don't use a lot of CPU. Does its job at a good price. No complaints. If I had overclocked the 6600k I probably would have gone with something more powerful.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

compact and powerful

for a 92mm fan with only two heatpipes it keeps my xeon e5-2670 pretty damn cool. fantastic performance and compactness for small cases. I made the mistake of not reading the full description, I figured it out thinking it was just a smoke fan, but it glows blue. It's no exaggeration, the case I put it in just doesn't have the aesthetic windows to see the inside.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • i really have no complaints about it, everything is fine

It's not bad for the price.

This is a decent CPU cooler, especially if you have a lower CPU TDP. The problem is that it looks like you're going to damage the motherboard during installation. I also wish you could turn off the LED. And the last problem is that the fins are very sharp and thin. Overall not too bad.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Reliability
