Good and bad case fans

Typed Arctic P12 and put the first item in the cart. Turns out it wasn't the Arctic at all, it was those Antek fans. Ultimately, it's my fault for not reading it carefully, but I'm frustrated that Revain/Antec for Antec shows up when I type in arctic like it's some sort of ad or something. Absolute BS. That's why I decided to give a 1 star rating. Didn't have time to send back and re-order. At the same time, everything is fine with the fans. They're a little louder than the P12, but better than

Great price, no problem. As Bart Simpson said, it sucks and sucks!

$5 Fan is ok, I didn't mind the aesthetics in this assembly but they are clearly visible under RGB lighting. On a system with a stock Ryzen 3600 cooler and a Powercolor RX 580 8GD5, I don't need to emphasize them much. I can play and stream hard with these fans at 50-60% and the GPU fan at 60%, the whole system stays cool, the GPU temp almost never exceeds 70C, but the case also has great airflow, so if you want a case that leans more into aesthetics than airflow, with thermally similar…

Really great deal - lots of fans for little money

These fans are not high end but still good quality. They are quiet and look beautiful. And very cheap for what you get. Most PCs don't need more than that - it's better to have 5 than 2 high-end fans. The only caveat is that the included fan splitters will not fit into your motherboard's fan headers. Instead, they are Molex connectors. This is not mentioned anywhere in the description, so if you want to connect the fans to the mainboard and not directly to the power supply, you have to order…

People who think they are silent must be deaf!

Pros: Reliable build quality and performance. The fans are robust and move a decent amount of air, although I found the manufacturers' RPM claims exaggerated by about 8%, but nothing beyond the usual drop in performance in time/processing/delivery. Cons: In 20 years of building computers, these are some of the loudest fans I've come across. I bought these to install one of my kids builds and didn't want to spend a lot of money and it shows. I can sit at my rig with a noise-cancelling headset on

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Decent entry-level fans.

I needed a set of relatively inexpensive fans for my desktop and since I've mostly used Antec fans so far I thought it might be worth a try. In terms of installation, the fans fit just like any other fan. It would be nice if they indicated the direction of airflow, but figuring out how to install them to get the desired results wasn't difficult. Let's talk about airflow first. The fans aren't very fast and the design of the blades doesn't generate much enthusiasm. These are fairly simple…

They are in. for computer components

I used 3 of these fans to replace the top 3 fans in a gaming PC. 2 in front, 3 on top and one in back. The original RGB top fans tended to wobble and make noise. The front one was already disabled, and then the second one started making noise. 2 years ago. I wanted to use some rubber mounting gizmos but couldn't find any. in the end it didn't matter as these fans are not designed to be used in any case (requires clearance between mounting tabs). I cut some rubber washers from the old inner tube

  • Pretty impressive

  • Annoying

Works great, a minor annoyance

They work well, more than quiet enough for my purposes, and it's a decent deal. The included Molex PC fan adapters are also useful, especially for projects that don't necessarily involve building your next gaming tower. My only complaint is that these fans do NOT have little indicator arrows to tell you which way the airflow is blowing! When they are there, it's really, really hidden in a weird place, the markers aren't very visible and/or they use some non-standard icons or other markers to…
