Now I can listen to FM

Works great with my stereo receiver. Just keep fumbling with the antenna until you get a good signal. This was done for a quality stereo receiver and the antenna justifies it.

Works pretty well. About accessories and consumables

I still can't receive all the regular stations on my radio band. Better than the standard wire antenna that came with the Bose audio system, but not as good as I was hoping. Still limited range.

1st on list of four I've tried

It has more sensitivity than the single wire FM antenna it replaced. with HF amplifier. This old and tried design beats them all! I just wish he wasn't an eyesore.

Works as described and the reception was noticeably better with the antenna.

The antenna that came with my receiver wasn't very useful. This replacement antenna did the trick and our reception was much clearer even in bad weather.

Know the impedance of the antenna connector.

I fitted this antenna to my radio desk to improve the reception of a particular station. I guessed the dipole I had in the radio was a 300 ohm antenna. Switching to a 75 ohm antenna has definitely made the station a better place.

Lowest quality cable

The two spade connectors on the end of this antenna were not securely connected to the wired portion of the 300 ohm cable. They broke off when connected to a 300 to 75 ohm cable adapter. New flat plugs had to be attached to the cable so that it would sit securely on the adapter.
