Ideal for spares

My factory antenna would hit garage doors and basketball goals, it works perfectly. I didn't notice any change in radio reception

I'm tired of my antenna banging against the top of my garage door on my 2016 F250. The antenna didn't lose reception because it was shorter

Works for me in the electrics

Bought 17.1 inch. I don't know what some are complaining about. My guess is that they didn't read the instructions and tightened the internal screw prior to installation. Very safe and the reception is the same.

There is no cut! Electrician

I got tired of banging the factory antenna against the garage door so I bought a 17" universal version. The reception is as good as with a standard antenna. The new antenna looks great. and he gets a great reception. +++

Garbage. Broke a second time in a car wash.

garbage. Broke a second time in a car wash. Now I have to replace the base with my wife's F-150. So not only is it a waste of $20, it also cost me more money and time to replace the existing antenna base that worked fine. DO NOT buy this!

The 17 " sounds good and doesn't go bad in the car wash

there is a 6.25" that would be more practical but I live far away from a big city and the seller says the 17" is always even better I haven't been able to test it but I know this 17 inch unit works better than the factory one they put in my F-170.

Top quality antenna!

I used this antenna on my 16 F-150 after installing my lift. I needed a shorter antenna that could handle the weather but still be flexible and pick up all my regular stations! As part of the included adapter. This antenna was perfect and yes I would buy it again if I needed another.

Decent reception of AM stations at a distance of 50 miles. (The update is 100 miles away.)

UPDATE! I tested the new antenna for reception when we were about 100 miles from the station and everything was fine. A bit static, but not so much that you can't hear the station. Also, I don't notice any wind noise from this antenna. I got it because I hated the standard antenna. Very prompt delivery. Came with detailed instructions and was easy to replace with the original antenna. I like the looks much better and the AM reception is decent. And I live 50 miles from the station I'm listening
