I have a very (cannot stress) oily face. My face only looks fresh for 1-2 hours after showering and then it gets very greasy. I've tried several cleansers and lotions with salicylic acid and other things. They temporarily make you look dry, but if you use them too often they sometimes tend to sting (due to salicylic acid) and make my face look oilier, at least for me, after the first drying phase. Really great stuff. Helps with my shiny (shaved) head and face, absorbs excess oil immediately after application. I also like the smell, citrus and delicate aroma. Nothing overwhelming.

I was skeptical but willing to try. It's a bit pricey and buy a little, I mean a lot considering how much you get. It actually works well for my skin and helps minimize oil build-up. I wish L'Oreal Men's Oil Control was made in the mid to late 2000s and costs about $6 a tube. This stuff was a wonder for oil control. This product helps me most of the day, I just wish it was cheaper.

It works for hours but I'm pretty sure the "oil control" aspect is that it's just clogging your pores. I've had a breakout or two while using this although I normally have clear skin so this is definitely a product. Try to stay in the T-zone and you'll be fine. It's good if you're going on a date and you don't want your face to reflect the sun and blind it on a hot sunny day.

Product description somewhat contradictory. It says it's an instant fix, but it's not meant to shine all day. My experience is that my t-zone stays matte for about an hour and dries, then I have to wipe the shine off. I have to wipe off excess oil every 1-2 hours throughout the day.
