I was definitely skeptical when I made this purchase. Cameras are becoming increasingly easy to hide and the world is getting a little spooky. Out of the box I tested this detector - I didn't have to walk more than a few steps before it found my favorite camera! This is perfect for placing in places you don't entirely trust, such as. B. Hotels. It definitely calms me down.

This unit works right out of the box. Signals detected in the home from the front door lock (which is electronic wireless internet) to the thermostat controls (also connected to the internet). Also very quickly found a wireless router. I recommend turning off your wireless router to significantly reduce RF signals so you can then look for other sources of RF signals. Will be used in hotels in the future.

I've had a few others that worked fine. But this one is much better. I've tested it on my Owen Nanny cameras, wireless networks 🎤 and a GPS tracker. He found them with ease, and the magnetic field detection is a nice feature that others didn't have. He found a phone in my car that I didn't know about and a baby monitor my girlfriend had plugged into the bedroom. I recommend to everyone. Well built, easy to use, excellent frequency response.

This is a good and useful device for detecting hidden cameras, microphones and other bugs. We tested it and nothing went unnoticed that we knew was there. At the maximum range, objects in our house were detected too strongly in all directions. So be sure to play around with the settings. I had to read the instructions multiple times to understand how to use it properly and get the best readings. We also used this to test the working strength of the Faraday cloth I ordered. A very useful device!

Make sure you turn off any sources that may generate radio signals. This may not be possible if you live in the building as you cannot control your neighbor's devices.
