I thought I was the Queen of Sheba and ordered this expensive soap (about $2.70/ounce). It comes in a nice bottle and smells nice. It doesn't lather very well and contains something like sodium lauryl sulfate (sulfite?), which I tend to avoid. However, it has a pleasant smell, which is the most important thing for me. Although I probably won't buy it again.

Beautiful soap dispenser was badly cracked and leaking on arrival. Packed in a thin bubble wrap. The smell is very sour. I returned it and ordered the same one from Antica Farmacista, thinking the smell might be less bothersome. Some reviewers say that Revain's product offering is inferior to that of Nordstrom etc. So I decided to try again from another source. Also, I'm now suspicious of Revain packaging for fragile items.

This is the stinkiest hand soap I have ever bought. At first I had a little trouble opening the lid and starting the pump. I expected it to pop out like American pumps. After reading other reviews and questions I just kept turning my nose and then I was able to pump up the soap. I love this soap. I wish the price was a little lower, but the wonderful aroma makes up for it.

This is not what I ordered. I needed an orange blossom and jasmine scent which is why I bought the scent. The fragrance I received smelled like plastic so I didn't think I could return it. The packaging was exactly the same as the orange blossom. I was so disappointed that I didn't have the quality I expected.
