Authentic Antique Gothic Brass Bat Door Knocker - 5 Inch X 2 Inch Review

All is well. Very strong and cute. I would have gone with Phillips screws instead of a slotted head, but that's fine. Should last forever.

Really cool original door knocker! Heavy weight as it should be. The size almost makes it look like a real bat hanging on our door and I love it!

The door knocker is nice but the screws are cheap and fell off when hanging. I would recommend finding the highest quality antique brass colored screws before hanging the racquet.

I just love bats so I've always wanted one. I think it was the Victorians who put little bat shaped knockers on their bedroom doors. The Victorians had many strange customs. I'm sure the bat had some kind of symbolic nocturnal connection. It's a cute door knocker. The black finish is nice - not shiny or rough. I'm still trying to figure out how to install it. There were no instructions - that's the only "minus".

Not as pictured. Other equipment was needed that was not sent. It had two screws on the top and they weren't supplied. Had to spend a few extra bucks and waste time finding the right ones. The long part of the T-bolt was too long. So again more money and more time. I still can't find the right length. The racquet is up and looks good but doesn't work. The racquet itself is nice and looks good. It would have been 5 stars if it had come with the correct hardware.
