Save time, save fabric. Worth every penny!

Yes, this is an expensive ruler for its size. But the time saving is worth it. This eliminates the need to trace a line from corner to corner, then sew, then cut. With this ruler you cut first and then make a 1/4 inch precise seam and you're done. I found that the corners that were cut are cut so precisely that you can use them to sew half-square triangles for another project. I'm so glad I bought this line!

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required

Great product

I saw a tutorial at the Fat Quarter Shop on how to make a dovetail quilt. Doug Leko showed how to make a quilt using a simple ruler with folded corners. It looked like an interesting instrument, so I ordered it. I made the quilt as instructed in the tutorial and a simple ruler with folded corners made it easy. I know other quilts I've made and it would be easier if I knew a simple ruler with the corners folded. Great instrument design. I look forward to using it again.

Pros
  • Rulers and ruler holders
Cons
  • I can't remember

Much better than using a square ruler for the same work

I bought this ruler to use on Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt Ringo Lake. I was able to use it right away without reading the instructions (although I'm sure there's a lot to learn) and it greatly speeded up my process. Worth the money and cheaper than Bonnie's lines (which I'm sure are great too). You need to craft blocks of different sizes. This line meets all requirements! It's easy to read and use.

  • Quilting

  • No Instructions
